How does the AI skin scan work? +
Take a selfie in good lighting. Our AI analyses 5 face zones — forehead, left cheek, right cheek, nose, and chin — and scores your skin across acne, hydration, texture, evenness, and skin age. You'll get a detailed breakdown plus a personalised morning & evening routine in seconds.
Are my photos stored? +
No. Photos are sent securely to the AI for analysis and are not stored on our servers. Only the numerical results (scores, routines, progress) are saved to your account so you can track changes over time.
How do I cancel my subscription? +
On your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Glō → Cancel Subscription. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. Free trials can be cancelled at any time without being charged.
How do I restore purchases? +
Open Glō → Profile → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used to subscribe. If your subscription doesn't restore, email us — we'll sort it within a day.
How much does Glō cost? +
Monthly is $9.99/month with a 3-day free trial. Annual is $49.99/year — saves 58% versus monthly. Both unlock unlimited scans, personalised routines, ingredient scanning, supplement guidance, and progress tracking.
Is Glō a medical service? +
No. Glō is a cosmetic skincare guidance tool — it measures your skin's visible condition and recommends routines and products. It's not a medical device and doesn't diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. For concerning skin issues, please see a licensed dermatologist.
How do I delete my account? +
Open Glō → Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your scans, routines, and personal data within 30 days. You can also email support@gloapp.nl and we'll handle it for you.
The scan didn't work — what do I do? +
Most scan issues come from lighting or angle. Try natural daylight, face the camera directly, remove glasses and hair from your face, and clean the lens. If it still fails, restart the app and try again. Persistent issues? Email us with your iPhone model and iOS version.
Which devices does Glō support? +
Glō runs on iPhone with iOS 16 or later. iPad and Android are not supported yet.
Do you accept refunds? +
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple directly: reportaproblem.apple.com. If you have a billing issue we can help with, just email us.
