Glō uses AI to analyse a photo of your face. You take a selfie, the AI scans 5 face zones — forehead, left cheek, right cheek, nose, and chin — and within seconds you receive a personalised skin score, zone breakdown, and a morning & evening routine tailored to your skin.
Glō provides a good-faith cosmetic assessment of your skin's visible condition. It measures acne, hydration, texture, evenness, and skin age based on what's visible in the photo. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose skin conditions. For medical concerns, please see a dermatologist.
For the best results: natural lighting (near a window works great), clean face (no heavy makeup), look straight into the camera, and ensure your whole face is visible. Avoid harsh shadows or very bright backlighting.
We recommend scanning once a week for most people. If you're treating a specific concern (acne, dryness), every 3–4 days gives you better tracking data. Monthly scans work well for maintenance.
Privacy & Data
No. Your photos are sent securely to the AI for analysis and are not stored on our servers. Only the numerical results (score, metrics, recommendations) are saved to your account. We never retain raw images.
No. Your photos and scan data are not used to train any AI models — ours or those of our processors. Your data is used solely to provide you with your personal analysis results.
Open Glō → Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your scans, routines, and personal data within 30 days. You can also email support@gloapp.nl with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll handle it for you.
Subscription & Billing
You get 3 days completely free — full access, no restrictions. After 3 days, your subscription starts automatically. You can cancel any time before the trial ends and you won't be charged. No hidden fees.
Both plans include: unlimited AI skin scans, full skin score & metrics, personalised morning & evening routine, AI product recommendations, progress tracking, before/after comparisons, weekly reports, and achievements. Available in 4 languages.
All subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Glō → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep access until the end of your billing period.
No. Glō does not accept payment from brands to feature or promote their products. All recommendations are generated by AI based purely on your skin scan results, skin type, and concerns. Some product listings include affiliate links — if you purchase through these links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps support the app's development. Affiliate relationships never influence which products are recommended.
Glō requires iOS 16 or later. It works on iPhone and iPad. An internet connection is required for AI analysis.
